Day 1 (Saturday - 16th August)Bukit – Bali (Indonesia)
Most flights will arrive just after lunch time. You will be met by Sara, Travis, and Michelle, the founder of Yoga World Tours, your personal guide during your stay in Bali. Airport pick up in our private mini coach. 30min drive to our location overlooking the Indian Ocean, experiencing your first sunset on the "Island of the Gods" as Bali is often referred to. Light snacks and a massage awaits your arrival. During your tour with us you have 3 full body treatments that are included in this yoga tour. We will spend our first evening meeting fellow participants, discussing itinerary followed with a sunset kirtan and a light dinner before getting settled for the night. Full Moon. (D)

Day 2 (Sunday - 17th August)Bukit (Indonesian Independence Day)
Almost every day your morning session consists of waking up at around 06:30 with a warm cup of tea. (selection herbal and green teas) At 07:00, we will commence with our chanting and meditation session, soaking up mother nature at her best. Afterwards we will have more tea with a special fruit salad from the island. Here you will be introduced to some local tropical fruits drizzled with ginger, honey lemon juice, warming the body from the inside out! At around 08:30 we will start with our yoga session until about ten am. Breakfast will be served until 11:30 am, giving you plenty of time to freshen up. You will have free time to relax,explore the environment or have a massage. Lunch will be on your own as there is plenty to sample in many of the beach stalls, some of which are run by westerners enabling you to try some of the local vegetarian dishes. We will meet up at 17:00 for our pm yoga session prior to getting ready to visit Uluwatu Temple where you will be introduced to some of Bali's famous Hindu ceremonies. You will receive a blessing with holy water from the high priest followed by the famous Kecak dance (trance chanting with dance performance) which is performed right on the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. Michelle will explain to you in more detail about these customs. Some light snacks, fresh juices hot Maca drinks, awaits you when we get back from this mind-blowing experience. (B,D)

Day 3 (Monday - 18th August)Bukit
We will start out day with our usual am sadhana session. For those interested you can take a refreshing walk led by Michelle and dip in the healing rock pools located on the beach. There will be more free time to read, to journal, to go within. Lunch will be on your own as there is so much to choose from and sample. Our afternoon session will involve a Surya Namaskara Chakra Journey, Ayurveda discussion involving key principles followed with a Sunset Kirtan and dinner. (B,D)

Day 4 (Tuesday - 19th August)Bukit – Ubud
After a couple of days with lots of down time we will pack up to go to our next destination, Ubud, a little village up in the hills, known for its breathtaking terraced rice paddies, artists of all kinds, great vegetarian food, temple ceremonies, colorful cultural parades and great markets. We will have our normal morning session followed by a life juice breakfast. Free time until 13:00, after that we will leave the Bukit and make our way down the hill. We will stop on the way for lunch at a special local restaurant. Taking the back roads of Ubud, we will stop at a rather eccentric art village. After we have settled in our location we will do some yoga followed by a sunset Kirtan and dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 5 (Wednesday - 20th August)Ubud (Galungan)
Today we have a fun day for you in mind. We will do our early morning Kirtan session at our accommodation followed by a light breakfast. After that we will take off for our yogic adventure surfing the white water rapids of the Ayung river. Down river we will be nourished with Lunch on the river banks surrounded by lush green flora and fauna. We will be back mid afternoon which is for you to spend which ever way you like too. A slow yoga stretch class will start around 5pm followed by our regular Sunset Kirtan which will prepare us for a delicious dinner where we will learn more about Ayurveda and food. (B,L,D)

Day 6 (Thursday - 21st August)Ubud (Galungan)
Today you should be able to feel your legs after yesterdays fun filled day. After our usual morning session we have organized this day to be a Balinese Spiritual day. We will meet a high priest who will teaches us a Balinese Healing Meditation. We will visit the Royal Court Temple of Ubud where we will learn more about the traditional Balinese offerings and blessings from the Bagvad Gita. This is a more in depth explanation of these ancient Sanskirt meanings from our first introduction to the Hindu customs unique to Bali at the Uluwatu Temple. Lunch will be enjoyed at Wayans herbal healing restaurant, learning more about the medicinal herbs from Bali. After Lunch we will meet Melanie and go on a guided herbal walk where you will pick your own herbs and make a drink unique to your constitution (B,L,D)

Day 7 (Friday - 22nd August)Ubud
Today we will have an other excursion to enjoy a picnic on an active volcano and dip in some hot springs. We will have an early start to get up on the volcano where we'll have our morning yoga session inspired by our environment. There will be a small hike here followed by us eating food prepared in hot volcanic sand. Kintamani, as this place is called, has a rather interesting history and houses a lake inside the crater. On the other side of this crater is a Bali Aga village. It is here where we will experience a purification ceremony with a Balian (Balinese high priest - Manku traditional healing priest) who will bless each individual before departing Bali and returning back home. We will enjoy our last goodbye dinner over- looking the terraced rice fields lit up by candles and fire flies…just for us!. (B,L,D)

Day 8 (Saturday - 23rd August)Ubud - Airport
This morning we will wake up for our last powerful yoga and kirtan session to really honor our time spent on the "Island of the Gods." There will be time for a big breakfast and final packing before leaving our accommodations around 11am. We will pack a sandwich and some fruit/drinks for the way down for one last special stop, to get a foot reflexology massage preparing us for the journey home.
