Sleep Sessions

Compassionate Sleep Support

You’ve heard the advice.

You’ve tried every protocol.

It’s still not working.

Sleep Sessions begin here.

We spend so much of our lives trying to get better at things. Sleep doesn’t need to be one of them. It’s not a test you pass or fail.

Sleep support shouldn’t stop with how to sleep better.

It should start there.

With Sleep Sessions, we work towards improving sleep through practices selected and adapted for you. But we also make room for the nights that don’t go as planned, and we have support for that as well.

Mind-body practices are not one-size-fits-all. We each respond to movement, breathwork, meditation, and reflection in unique ways. Together, we find what supports your needs, your constitution, and your sleep.

Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is a well-established, evidence-based clinical treatment for insomnia. Sleep Sessions 1:1 Coaching is something different: an approach Dr. Ivanhoe developed through her research, centered around the three R’s: Reflection, Regulation, and Resilience.

Reflection

Observation and assessment. The baseline, and the return.

Regulation

Steadying the nervous system, building sleep momentum.

Resilience

Sustaining you through the nights sleep doesn’t come.

Reflection resumes: what is working, what requires adjustment.
