Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
This website, saraivanhoe.com, is operated by Dr. Sara Ivanhoe (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website and through our sleep coaching services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
In short: we collect only what we need, we use it only to communicate with you and provide our services, and we never sell it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
Email sign-up. Your email address when you sign up for updates.
Contact and media inquiry forms. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
Booking an introductory call. Your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give it, the time you choose, and a short note about what you’d like to focus on.
Payments. When you pay for sessions, your payment is handled by a secure third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
Coaching clients. If you become a client, you share information with us about your sleep, daily routines, and wellbeing. This includes an intake form and a regular sleep log.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies, provided by our website host, Squarespace. They keep the site working and give us general statistics, such as how many people visit and which pages they view. This may include your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit.
How we use your information
To respond to your messages and inquiries
To schedule and hold your introductory call and sessions
To send the updates you signed up for, such as event announcements and new sleep practices
To provide coaching, including reviewing your intake form and sleep log so we can suggest and adjust practices
To process payments and keep business records
To understand how the website is used and improve it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Coaching client information
We treat what clients share about their sleep and wellbeing with particular care. It is used only to provide your coaching. It is kept private and is not shared with anyone else unless you ask us to share it, or unless the law requires it. It is stored in password-protected accounts, and access is limited to Dr. Ivanhoe.
Sleep coaching is not medical care, and Dr. Ivanhoe is not a licensed healthcare provider. This information is kept private, but it is not a medical record.
Who helps us run the site and services
We use a small number of trusted service providers. They handle your information only to perform services for us:
Squarespace: website hosting, forms, email sign-ups and email newsletters
Acuity Scheduling (part of Squarespace): booking calls and sessions, and appointment emails
Zoom: video calls
Google: email, client intake forms and sleep logs
A secure payment processor: payments
These providers have their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep information
Email sign-up information: kept until you unsubscribe.
Messages, inquiries and bookings: kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records.
Coaching client records: generally kept for three years after coaching ends, then deleted.
